Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the iPhone app FysiCal ("the app"), published by ogDahl ("we"). By installing and using the app you accept these terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where permitted, these terms take precedence in case of conflict.

1. What the app is – and isn't

FysiCal is a tool for remembering and logging exercises prescribed by a physiotherapist or other practitioner. The app contains no exercises, training programmes or health advice and makes no diagnoses. You enter your own plan.

The app is not a medical device and does not replace assessment by a healthcare professional. If you experience pain, worsening symptoms or are unsure about an exercise, stop and contact your practitioner. You are responsible for ensuring that the exercises you log are suitable for you.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, resell or attempt to derive the app's source code.

3. Price

The app is free and contains no subscription, in-app purchases or advertising. Should this change, it will be clearly stated in the App Store and in the app before you are asked to pay.

4. Reminders

Reminders are delivered as iOS notifications and require your permission. iOS limits the number of scheduled notifications, and delivery may be affected by Do Not Disturb, Focus modes, low battery and similar. We do not guarantee that a reminder arrives at a specific time, and the app should not be used as the sole reminder for anything where timing is critical (e.g. medication).

5. Your data and backup

Your data is stored on your phone and backed up to an anonymous cloud profile as described in the privacy policy. The backup is a convenience, not a guarantee; we recommend keeping Apple's own iPhone backup enabled as well. You can delete all your data at any time under Settings in the app.

6. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for loss or damage arising from use of or inability to use the app, including missed exercises, lost data or health consequences of exercises you chose to perform. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

7. Changes and termination

We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or via the App Store. We may discontinue the app or its cloud services with reasonable notice; your local data will remain viewable in the installed version for as long as iOS supports it. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting your data and uninstalling it.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes may be brought before the Danish courts unless mandatory rules entitle you otherwise. As an EU consumer you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
